Perigonia grisea
Diagnostic description:
Immediately distinguishable from all other Perigonia by the uniform grey forewing upperside crossed by narrow, dark brown transverse lines. Forewing upperside rather uniform grey, crossed by a nearly straight antemedial line, a sinuate postmedial line and a double submarginal line that runs almost perpendicularly from costa to tornus. Hindwing upperside most similar to Perigonia stulta but yellow tornal patch larger.
Male genitalia: Uncus in lateral view somewhat widened apically, ending in a short tooth. Harpe produced into a short, pointed process. Phallus with two or three setae on the right side; whip rather short, with one seta at the base and two at the tip.
Female genitalia: Sterigma as in Perigonia stulta.
