Perigonia lusca
Forewing upperside always with a distinct black submarginal line curving from apex to tornus; a conspicuous, mostly straight, brown antemedial line crossing distally of CuA2, gradually shading off distally, this brown scaling forming a band that narrows costad. Degree of development of basal yellow band on hindwing upperside varying from broad and well developed (form lusca) through divided (form interrupta) and highly reduced (form restituta), to absent (form tenebrosa). Hindwing underside tornal patch buff.
Male genitalia: Uncus and gnathos similar to Perigonia grisea; uncus lobes ending in a short, blunt tooth not dilated externo-laterad apically (as in Perigonia jamaicensis). Valve much narrower than in Perigonia jamaicensis. Harpe as in Perigonia jamaicensis. Phallus as in Perigonia jamaicensis, number of setae individually variable.
Female genitalia: Sterigma triangular, somewhat folded transversely. Ostium bursae free, postmedian, and slightly asymmetrical in position, its edges slightly elevated.
