Perigonia pittieri
Very similar to Perigonia stulta but forewing outer margin more evenly curved (not crenulated as in [some] Perigonia stulta) and apex obtuse (not acute). Forewing upperside pattern less contrasting and more uniform than in Perigonia stulta, antemedial band straight or only slightly curved. Male FWL: 24-26.75 mm; female FWL: 29 mm.
Male genitalia: Very similar to Perigonia stulta but: Uncus lobes thinner. Gnathos lobes, in lateral view, with a median excrescence on the inner face (lacking in Perigonia stulta) and distally smoothly convex (thus lacking the more distal subtriangular tooth of Perigonia stulta). Valves with a narrower, more angulate basal process bearing fewer spines. Phallus truncate apically, prolonged into a filament equal in length to a third of the apical width of the phallus; four cornuti and one seta in the subterminal region of the phallus; two cornuti at the base of the whip and one seta apically.
