Morphology:
Forewing upperside uniform pale chocolate-brown to brown, transverse lines and typical spots of Polyptychus and Neopolyptychus barely visible to well marked (corresponding to the range of variation observed in males). 43-45 mm. Antevaginal median lobes typical of the Polyptychus nigriplaga group.
