Polyptychus trilineatus subsp. sonantis
Morphology:
Indistinguishable from Polyptychus trilineatus luteatus. Extremely similar to Polyptychus trilineatus luteatus but:Uncus somewhat longer (but still shorter than in Polyptychus trilineatus trilineatus).Gnathos a high thin ridge, medially slightly excavate.Apex of ventral medially fused lobes of juxta slightly less projecting towards the right. Sharp ridge on concave inner surface of ventral lobe of valve less oblique and longer. Similar to Polyptychus trilineatus trilineatus but:Posterior margin of abdominal tergite 8 divided into two rounded lobes that lack a prominent cone on their dorsal surfaces, there being only a slight swelling.Postvaginal plate more rounded laterally.
