Protaleuron herbini
Diagnostic description:
Very similar to Protaleuron rhodogaster but immediately distinguishable by the even (not crenulated) forewing outer margin. Forewing upperside with a larger discal spot and much reduced scattered white scaling than in Protaleuron rhodogaster. Male FWL: 37 mm; female FWL: 41 mm.
Male genitalia: Similar to those of Protaleuron rhodogaster but gnathos processes only slightly longer than uncus processes; harpe with a very small sclerotized tooth; phallus apex with at least twice as many strongly developed dentate projections.
