Sataspes infernalis (Westwood, 1847)

Transferred to Sataspes by Moore, [1858] 1857, Cat. lepid. Ins. Mus. East India Company2: 261. This name applies to the form in which the abdomen has a more-or-less broad yellow band on tergites 6 and 7, the other tergites generally have dispersed yellow hair scales and the discs of the wings are violet-purple with little gloss.
