Carcasson, 1968, Jl E. Afr. nat. Hist. Soc. natn. Mus. 26 (3): 84, incorrectly stated that the holotype should be in MRAC, and having not found it there, concluded it had been lost. However, Rothschild & Jordan clearly stated that the holotype was deposited in "Musée d'Hist. Nat., Bruxelles", now the IRSNB.
