Xylophanes zurcheri
Diagnostic description:
Similar in colour and pattern to Xylophanes undata. Outer spur of midtibia shorter than inner. Forewing outer margin less strongly crenulated than in Xylophanes undata, crenulations at the ends of Rs4 and M1 less well developed, leading to a slight excavation on the outer margin below the apex. Forewing upperside similar in colour and pattern to that of Xylophanes undata but most distal postmedial line inconspicuous and convex externally, delineating a broad, oval, pale purple-grey patch that stretches from the tornus as far as M2.
