Theretra celata
Similar to Theretra clotho clotho but overall tone generally more yellowish. Forewing underside blackish-brown area generally less extended than in Theretra clotho clotho. Hindwing upperside buff medial band broader than in Theretra clotho clotho, extended more or less to costal margin. Male FWL: 35-42 mm (n = 34). Female FWL: 41.5-48.9 mm (n = 25).
Male genitalia: Similar to Theretra lifuensis but: Tegumen without a clear convex bulge on the dorsal margin just basal to uncus. Uncus broader in lateral view; in dorsal view, lateral margins straight. Gnathos broader in lateral view, posterior ventral surface more concave. Valve more elongate, distal margin more pointed; sacculus wider. Harpe blade-like with slightly irregular dorsal and distal margins.
