Ampelophaga rubiginosa
Hindwing veins M2 and M3 of much further apart than M3 and CuA1. Mid- and hindtarsus without a comb. Forewing upperside with an indistinct basal band then successively a subbasal line; an antemedial band; an abbreviated disco-cellular band; a broad discal band; a mostly dentate discal line; and an oblique apical line that is indistinctly continued in zigzag form to the hind margin; the spaces between these greyish, the lines themselves sometimes indistinct; distal marginal area glossy.
Male genitalia: Uncus truncate, weakly sinuate in distal view. Harpe regularly ladle-shaped. Phallus with a long left process that is irregularly and sparsely dentate and notched at proximal edge; the right process short, usually simple, but sometimes with one or two minute teeth.
