Taxonomic Notes:
Proposed as a subspecies of Polyptychus trilineatus. Raised to species status by Melichar, Haxaire & Manjunatha, 2021, European Ent. 13 (1): 13.
Nomenclature notes:
The name was misspelled as “javanicns” in the text but correctly spelled in the plate legend.
