Callionima nomius
Immediately distinguishable from all other species of Callionima by the forewing upperside pattern and hindwing upperside colour. Scaling on mesonotum raised to a prominent hump. Abdomen longer than in the other species of Callionima. Palp longer than in the other species of Callionima. Forewing upperside deep brown with a pale brown triangular patch on the costa and the silver discal spot represented only by a minute dot. Hindwing upperside dark brown with a buff base (orange in all other species of Callionima).
Male genitalia: Uncus deeply divided into two lobes, which are parallel, almost vertical, the sinus between them oblong, each lobe acuminate, the upper edge slanting, nearly straight, the lower one strongly convex in middle. Gnathos divided into two long, slender processes, which lie close along the inner surface of the uncus lobes, not being visible in a lateral view. Phallus narrowed apically into a short, obtuse, curved process.
