Cephonodes lifuensis
Diagnostic description:
Most similar to Cephonodes kingii but immediately distinguishable by the foretibial claw. Abdominal tuft black at base, laterally orange or just at tip. Foretibia with an apical claw. Abdomen brownish-red, greyish in middle of the anterior sternites. Forewing upperside with distal border broad but slightly narrower than in Cephonodes kingii, being only 4 mm broad at Rs4.
