Cephonodes novebudensis
Diagnostic description:
Similar to Cephonodes lifuensis but: Foretibia with an apical claw. Abdomen ventrally light yellow, paler than in Cephonodes lifuensis; posterior abdominal sternites grey; fringe prominent and white with a black base, rather than yellow with a black base; anal tuft tawnier beneath. Forewing distal border narrower, 2.5 mm at Rs4 rather than 4 mm. Male RFWL: 23 mm.
