Darapsa myron (Cramer, 1779)

Apex of forewing and hindwing angle at vein 1A more projecting than in Darapsa versicolor. Crest of head higher than in Darapsa versicolor. External row of spines of first protarsal segment irregularly doubled in basal half. Spurs shorter than in Darapsa versicolor. Uncus and gnathos similar to those of Darapsa choerilus. Valve with numerous, truncate stridulatory scales. Harpe with a short, stout process that is narrowest at the base; dorsal side of process covered with minute teeth; the ventral side also rough and denticulate, both sides finely rugose. Aedeagus with the right process smaller than the left, simple and dentate, the left dentate at the edges. Eighth tergite similar to that of Darapsa choerilus, the sides somewhat produced. Ostial plate narrower apically than in Darapsa choerilus, the raised edge of the ostium less sclerotised.
