Erinnyis crameri (Schaus, 1898)

Most similar to Erinnyis oenotrus but easily distinguished by features of the tegulae and wing pattern. Differs from Erinnyis oenotrus in the pale tegulae highlighting the dark brown or black median stripe. Differs from Erinnyis oenotrus in lacking black dots on the underside of abdomen. Distinguished from Erinnyis oenotrus by the pale posterior area of the forewing. Hindwing upperside differs from Erinnyis oenotrus in the dark brown marginal band being broken into a series of clearly defined, diamond-shaped spots on the ends of the veins. Very similar to Erinnyis oenotrus but:Gnathos slightly less curved.Harpe a little longer and apically narrower.Dentate edge of aedeagus on right side proximally less produced.
