Erinnyis oenotrus (Taxonomy)
General description:
Transferred to Erinnyis by H├╝bner, [1819], Verz. bekannter Schmett.: 139.
Morphology:
Underside of palps, thorax and abdomen paler than Erinnyis crameri.Underside of abdomen with black dots. Forewing upperside blackish-brown marked with grey; similar to Erinnyis crameri but pale brown areas less conspicuous Hindwing upperside similar to Erinnyis lassauxii form merianae. Forewing upperside greyish white with black patches. Harpe somewhat variable in length and width, apically slightly upcurved with a blunt, triangular distal point.
