Isognathus swainsonii Felder, C. & Felder, R., 1862

Very similar to Isognathus leachii. Forewing upperside with more white scaling than Isognathus leachii; interrupted white vein-streaks over all distal half of the wing; basal patch thinner than in Isognathus leachii; dark brown spot at apex of discal cell and that distal to crossvein m2-m3 not distinctly separate, more or less completely merged together; black streak between M3 and CuA1 separate from the patch below CuA2; marginal spots at ends of veins larger and paler grey than in Isognathus leachii. Inner margin of dark brown marginal band of hindwing upperside not dentate or very faintly so, generally broader than in Isognathus leachii.
