Neopolyptychus prionites
Diagnostic description:
One of the "small" Neopolyptychus that are indistinguishable on external appearance.
Male genitalia: Most similar to Neopolyptychus choveti but: Dorsal apical process of valve broader, more strongly incurved (90°, almost reaching the midline), strongly dentate apically. Ventral apical process of valve shorter, knob-like, hairy. Apex of phallus with a transverse, spinose band that turns through about 270° ventrally.
