Panogena jasmini
Body and forewing whitish grey, paler than in Panogena lingens. Antenna thinner than in Panogena lingens. Abdomen with whitish grey lateral patches, not yellow. Third palpal segment quite prominent. Foretarsus with 1st segment shorter than segments 2 to 5 together, with some prolonged spines. Midtibia spinose, unlike Panogena lingens. Hindtibia with long terminal spur about 2/3 the length of the 1st tarsal segment. Hindwing upperside with base all yellow, unlike Panogena lingens where the extreme base is black; black discal band not dilated basad behind discal cell, as it is in Panogena lingens.
Male genitalia: uncus gradually tapered to a point, slightly curved, with some long stiff hairs, the upperside strongly convex, the extreme tip suddenly hooke; gnathos little shorter than the uncus, elongate-triangular, flat, the sides not turned up distally, the apex obtusely pointed; valve with a patch of stridulatory scales on the outer side not sharply defined, the dentition of the scales quite heavy; harpe indicated by a thickening of the ventral margin of the valve, densely covered with short scales, no free process; phallus with a pointed process apically curving laterad.
Female genitalia: ostial plate short, mainly membranous apart from a flat, transverse, more strongly chitinised, brown, rounded ridge posterior to the ostium; ostium transverse, subapical, the membrane convex mesially due to the ductus being quite strongly chitinised.
