Panogena lingens
Much darker than Panogena jasmini. Antenna thicker than in Panogena jasmini. Abdomen with yellow lateral patches, not whitish grey. Foretarsus with 1st segment as long as segments 2 - 4 together. Midtibia not spinose, unlike Panogena jasmini. Hindtibia with long terminal spur not much more than 1/2 the length of the 1st tarsal segment. Hindwing upperside with extreme base black, unlike in Panogena jasmini; black discal band dilated basad behind discal cell, unlike in Panogena jasmini; yellow discal band sometimes reaching the costal margin, but usually shaded with black or brown in anterior half.
Male genitalia: uncus and gnathos similar to those in Panogena jasmini, but the gnathos is less flat, the margins somewhat turned upwards; valve with the patch of stridulatory scales longer and better defined than in Panogena jasmini, the scales less denticulate; harpe small, not scaled on inner surface, but with some hairs, and with two apical, triangular, tooth-like processes, one pointing distad, the other dorsad; phallus with process similar to that in Panogena jasmini, less curved apically, and with a minute tooth-like carina subapically.
Female genitalia: ostial plate as short as in Panogena jasmini, especially the post-ostial portion, which is reduced to a transverse stripe, much more chitinised than in Panogena jasmini except proximally; ostium very transverse, covered anteriorly by a rounded, transverse ridge that is mesially sharply rounded sinuate.
