Psilogramma bartschereri Eitschberger, 2001 [Invalid]

Synonymized with Psilogramma menephron nebulosa by Kitching and Rougerie et al., 2018, Biodivers. Data J. 6: e22236. The apical “fishtail” process of the phallus of the holotype of Psilogramma bartschereri agrees with the elongate form found in P. menephron rather than the shorter and squarer form of P. renneri (including other specimens from Sri Lanka). DNA barcoding of the holotype has shown that it clusters tightly with specimens of Psilogramma menephron nebulosa from New Guinea and Australia. The type locality is therefore considered to be erroneous and Psilogramma bartschereri is here treated as a junior synonym of Psilogramma menephron nebulosa.
