Amphion floridensis
Diagnostic description:
Abdomen upperside with bright yellow bands along posterior margins of tergites 4 and 5 and a tufted apex. Forewing upperside reddish-brown with darker antemedial, medial and submarginal bands. Hindwing upperside with reddish-orange medial band.
Phallus with a sharply point digitate process.
Female genitalia: Postvaginal plate very short laterally and somewhat widened medially. Ostium bursae anterad of postvaginal plate in a membranous region. Antrum relatively long, remainder of ductus bursae short and attached to corpus bursae. Signum single, tear-shaped.
