Clarina syriaca
Diagnostic description:
Variable in colour (some individuals are more tawny than others) and size. Male paler than female. Forewing upperside bands and lines distinct; pattern similar to that of Darapsa choerilus, but the proximal edge of the discal band is not straight, but concave anteriorly.
Male genitalia: Very similar to Ampelophaga rubiginosa, but phallus with cornuti thinner and not dentate.
Female genitalia: Ostial plate weakly sclerotized, the shape similar to Ampelophaga.
